A Helicopter tour of the island is a must. There are a lot
of different companies on the island. The first company
listed is the only one that flies out of the small airport
on the North Shore of Kaua’I, which is very close

Surf Co started as a 16' by 12' windsurfing equipment shop
that was open 10 hours a week. Nineteen years later, with
two stores offering hundreds of products and employing over
30 people, Hanalei Surf still retains it's small town general
store feel.

of Kaua’I : This
is a great way to rent a car if you want to save some money
and don’t need something new and fancy. If you’re
tryin to keep it local style, this is the way to go. Note
that their pickup location is not at the airport, and they
are not open 24 hours. Call ahead to get details.
The
rest of these are your typical, corporate car rental places.
Most of them have a desk right outside the terminal. However,
the pick up of the actual car may be in the town of Lihue,
so check with the reservations agent.
